FOR INDIVIDUALS

You Are More Than Your Current Context Sees or Allows

For the person who knows that performance is not an individual act and needs a coach who can hold their complexity.

If this feels familiar, let's talk.

Most of the support available to you starts in the wrong place. It starts with who you should be, what you should want, where you should be heading or even with the question what do you want.

People offer interpretations of your situation before they have understood your situation. Many times these sound like they make sense, and so you try to make those interpretations fit because the person offering them seems to know what they are talking about. But something never quite lands, things still feel off.

Coaching with me starts differently. We always keep who you are as central. Not who you want to become, though that will come. Not with who others think you should be, nor the goals you feel you ought to have. Just who you actually are, in your current context, with everything that entails.

That sounds simple, though it is not always easy. But when that foundation is clear, all the rest tends to follow more naturally and becoming becomes exciting.

The Shift

What people notice first is usually not a breakthrough. It is a relief.

The sense of being stuck or swept along starts to feel different as you allow yourself to interpret your reality your way. The thing you thought was a personal failing starts to look more like a something that served you well at some point in time. And so opens up the possibility for you to keep it, tweak it, discard it or transform it. The energy you were spending on trying to become an expectation becomes available for something else and suddenly what felt impossible and out of reach, becomes doable.

What becomes possible is not always what you expected, your goal may take a different shape.

This is not a quick process and it is not always linear. But it tends to move. And when it does, it moves in a direction that feels like yours rather than something borrowed from someone else's map.

Who This Is For

This coaching is for people who have not quite given up on the version of life they once imagined. Who still feel drawn to something more meaningful, even when the day-to-day makes that feel naïve or out of reach. It is for those who ask: is this it? For those who say there must be more to life than this.

You may be bordering on cynicism. You may be tired. You may feel everything around you is stronger than you. But some part of you is not willing to give in yet. That is the part we work with.

If you are looking for someone to help you chase success more efficiently, this is probably not the right fit. If you are looking for someone to think with you about what success actually means for the individual you are, it might be.

I would love to promise you an outcome. Most coaches do. They offer a recipe: you are here, I will help you get there.

I have not experienced life to be that simple. But I have found a different kind of simplicity, one that becomes available when we stop ignoring the complexity of your situation.

You may need time with that. You have been trained to ask what is the offer, what will I get, where will I end up. Take that time. And if this feels like what you need, come back and book that first call or get in touch through my contact form.

If you are an individual that works in accounting, finance or tax, I have a page dedicated to you.
